I am a full time student who live in VA. I am looking for some low income health insurance for myself. Currently, I got some illness and I really need to see the doctor; however, I dont have any health insurance. Is anyone know any health insurance would be providing for a person like me? My family is low income family. Is any way I can get a health insurance from the government? Thank you!

  1. if you are a full time student your are not REQUIRED to do anything except pay your tution  . . . how ever to answer your question try comparing the health plans at websites like http://www.COMPAREusINSURANCE.com

    hope that helps.

  2. If you're a full time student, you're *required* to have health insurance, aren't you? Why haven't you purchased the health insurance provided by your college? That should be the first place you start.

  3. As a practical matter, start by going to the campus infirmary, which may be able to help, and will be considerably less expensive than a doctor in private practice.

  4. There are plenty of different medical insurance options that you have in Virginia because you are a student, you are young, and your family has low income.

You may be able to qualify for a government program like Medicaid if not then be sure and choose a reputable company like a United Healthcare, Blue Cross, Aetna, etc.

Shop around and compare rates to find the best deal for your situation.
