  1. i personally like the mid cleats because they give you more support and you are less likely to twist your ankle. i play linebacker/d-end and offensive guard so it might be different for you. get whatever you like better, but the mids give you more support

  2. If youre a north to south tailback then the low cleats should be fine.  If you lose a lot of "cuts" and "shake" manuevers you better go mid.  It mostly depends on what you feel most comfortable in.  Most college and NFL backs use the mid cleats if that tells you anything.

  3. always wear mid cleats...ankle support

  4. mid for your ankles

  5. yeah mids give ankle supprt

  6. I would advise mids for a tailback, better support and the added mass does not add that much.  If you want a lighter cleat look around as different companies vary.

  7. It heavily depends on how you run. If you pronate or supinate, it's more advantageous to utilize the added support the mid offers. However, if you're looking for maximum freedom of movement and the lightest weight, go with the low.

Your ankles are getting taped anyway, but you still want the most freedom of movement without sacrificing support.
