Low price climbing rope?

Can someone tell me some online stores that sell ropes for rope climbing for gymnastics. I don't really want anything pricey though. So maybe like 20 or 30 bucks. I only need about 15-20 feet.

  1. You are asking in the rock climbing section - most of us only know about thin safety ropes and I'm sure you are looking for a very thick heavy rope for kids to climb. You can search Yahoo Shopping and get several hits, but they are not as cheap as you are looking for:

Maybe try posting the question in the physical education section

  2. Good day!

Climbing rope usually runs $120 - $300 - climbing ropes are not cheap because, they are a safety device, engineered to handle the rough conditions of climbing.

The cheapest, new rope you will be able to find (10 mm) will be an Edelrid Skypilot at Mountain Equipment Co-op for $120 (50 m).

Some climbing retailers will sell you custom lengths of rope at $2 - $5+ per meter.

Your other choice is to look for a used rope but, I wouldn't be trusting a persons' life using it for fall protection.  You might be able to buy a cheap, used climbing rope on e-Bay.
