Low scoring, tight game expected between Browns and Jaguars this Sunday – NFL News
A tight game is expected between Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars as both teams face each other on Lake Erie into week 11 of the current seasons of the American football league, National Football League (NFL).
Given the fact that both teams are facing a similar circumstance, struggling to come out of the bottom half in their respective divisions, a low scoring game is being predicted between them this Sunday.
The history of the game played between the two teams favours the Cleveland Browns as they have won two out of the total three games played. This includes the 23-17 home win by the Cleveland. However, the last match between them,
in 2010, was won by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In view of the current analysis of the situation between Browns and Jaguars, the NFL odds are only 1 (one) in favour of the Browns. However, a close competition is expected between the two.
In the current season of the NFL, Jaguars have been able to record two consecutive wins to their credit, finally managing to overcome the streak of losing five games in a row. They are also coming off their first road win, a 17-3
against the Indianapolis Colts.
In total nine games that Jaguars have played they have registered 17 and less points, while in games they have won allowed 24, almost eight points per game in their total wins. Meanwhile total 142 points, 24 points per game, have
been scored in the games they have lost.
The score ratio from them and against them reflects on their problems with reaching the end zone despite that they have played almost all the games competitively. This also put extra pressure on their defence.
In defence, Jacksonville Jaguars rank at 5th, while in offense they are down at 11th position.
Meanwhile, Cleveland Browns dropped lost their third game in a row. Their last was the home decision 13-12 against St. Louis.
Browns have scored only 34 points, about 11 per game. Browns rank 24th in passing offense.
However their defence leads the NFL against the pass, which is at 163 yards per game, while its position against the run, which is 143 yards per game, ranks down at 30th in the league.
