Die Mannschaft team trainer understands the inquiry into his side’s 4-4 stalemate against Sweden on Tuesday, and insisted they must improve on the defensive front in their coming games
Germany head coach Joachim Low claims he admits his errors that cost his team three crucial points in the 2014 World Cup qualifier against rivals http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015. The national side conceded four goals with only 30 minutes left in the match
after leading the game 4-0.
The outcome has dominated the news in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 since the clash. The manager said he knows why the fans are asking questions, and stressed that the reason for failure in the qualifier is crystal clear. He claimed that Die Nationalelf’s
attacking mindset has provided their opponents space to counterattack.
"Of course I can understand these debates. This unbelievably offensive game leads into weaknesses [in defending]," he stated.
The DFB-Eleven retain their top position in Group D, and are three points clear of Sweden having played a game more than them. However, the tactician admitted that defensive frailties have to be tackled to avoid something like
this happening in the future.
The national team boss further added that he needs to change the strategy and the side needs to get better in the defensive area. He stated that they need to be able to handle pressure when the match goes out of hands. The players
will have to learn to defend rigidly, winning fifty-fifty tackles and press the opposition to a good effect.
"We have to work on certain tactical things," he added.
"If the game threatens to turn we have to enforce key elements - behind the ball, maintaining positions, individual actions and winning one-on-ones again. We have to learn that,” he mused.
"I don't agree with people saying that I am immune to advice or cannot admit when I make a mistake. Those who know me are aware that I stand by my mistakes or non-working strategies," the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 boss concluded.
Low maintained that Germany should learn from their mistakes and should not repeat them in the near future. He suggested that he is open to criticism if he makes a mistake.
