If I had a thermometer that consistently gave low temperature readings, how would that affect the temperature if I changed it to kelvin?

  1. by low, do you mean an error reading low?

No difference. If the thermometer had an error of 1ºC, that would translate to 1ºK error.

If you are working in Fahrenheit, a 9/5º error will translate to a 1ºC error, which translates to 1ºK error.
