Low white blood cell count?

I went to the dr for a unrelated reason and after a blood test friday I was told I needed to come in first thing monday morning for more tests because my white cell count came out at 1000 I feel fine what could be the problem or cause this?

it could mean that you are having a large amount of viruses/infections in your body, and they are winning agaisnt your cells, or it could mean that you have a possible chance for aids, because aids, is a disease that attacks your white blood cells, which weakens your body so it cant fight off anything else

it MIGHT be the reason for this, im not entirely sure

OR it could be that you r body just isnt producing enough white blood cells, or they arent multiplying fast enough
