can anyone help me find low-cost airfare?? I need it to be round trip from Nairobi, Kenya (NBO) to Cleveland/Columbus,Ohio (CLE/CMH)

The dates are around July 2nd to August 6th

I need to be around $1800-$2000 per person.

I live in Africa as a missionary and there is a family crisis in the States causing me to have to go back. Please help me!

With the current economy situation and high air fuel cost burdening the airline industry, finding a low cost airfare would be relatively hard.

You might want to start considering inexpensive airline vouchers and coupons. However, don't bother buying them from classified sites like craigslist. I'm not sure how many scammers are lurking around there.

I'd advise that you purchase them from established sites like http://vacanttravel.com and http://ebay.com

Airfare isn't cheap. I've been looking also for my kids to go down south to visit their dad. I know gas prices are high but come on. I haven't seen any good prices. All airlines I've checked are all around the same price. I've even checked different times and dates. Good luck in your search and hope everything is well back home.

I am sorry to hear about your family crisis.  Unfortunately flying during the summer is extremely expensive.  I would check out to see if you could buy a vacation package to New York or Atlanta or Washington DC.  Sometimes when you do that, it is cheaper than actually buying a plane ticket.  Then I would see how much a ticket costs to fly to CMH.  What is nice is that Columbus has Southwest flying there.  When there is a low-cost carrier at the airport, usually airfare is lower.  Here in Cincinnati we do not have a strong low-cost carrier so we have one of the highest average airfares in the country.
