Lower, body kit, or rims? 88' cabriolet

I have a black 88 cabriolet.

i really want to lower it or get a bodykit so it doesnt look like so much of a chick car(no offense) but i was told that if i lowered it it would be a little bit cheaper most likey, but with a cab that old who knows if I'll enjoy the modification long enough to make it worth while.

and with body kits.. its the paintin that gets expensive

sooo im thinking maybe ill get some cool black rims?

I would appreciate any sort of commentary/feedback to this post

ima newbie

  1. in my opinion you should do all of it, as soon as you do one  thing you will want to do more so just do it all

  2. I'd get it slammed if I was you. get a good cup set and you might find you have money left over for those rims you want

  3. your a vw driver. no bodykits your not modding some old honda. you should try to find some good 40/60 lowering springs, find stock 13-14 steelies, and as far sa bodykits just try and get fender flairs and big bumpers for the car and youll be set.
