Lower Saxony Without Swine ?

Recently read in USA that pigs now outnumber population of Saxony and want to know where Foreign Traveler might best

enjoy region without smelling the animal industry byproducts.

Question source likes rural settings, small towns, sidewalk tables, quiet dining.

Hahaha...you might try our state capital, Hannover, where our state parliament and government is...I'll leave it to you whether you prefer that to the smell of swine...Apart from that you could try Lueneburger Heide or Teutoburger Wald (unless you're of italian origin, then you'll probably hate it).You could also go to one of the east frisian islands like Norderney.
