Question:

Lower back cramps before my period... what can i do about them??

So some girls have stomach cramps before their period, well my lower back hurts. it kills. i can't even sit down without it hurting... and i hate to take pain meds. I have a kind of phobia about them.... dont ask, just about overdosing and stuff. so... can i do anything BESIDES pain meds?? thanks!

  1. well, if you're at school, you can't do much if you don't want to use pain meds. you can try to find a comfortable position, but besides that... not a lot. but when you're at home, you can use a heat pack on it. just lay on it, it feels really good! and stretch too. it helps relax the muscles. good luck! :)


  2. Even though it hurts like crazy sometimes, Stretching helps a lot!

    And Bananas seem to help too, i don't know why though.

    And Massaging always feels good too

  3. there is motrin that you can take, you can also use a heat pad on your lower back.  I had those cramps when i still got my periods and they are painful. I found that motrin and tylenol helped alot. you  can alternate between the 2 of them every 4 hours
