Question:

Lower back pain + Prednisone = arm & leg pain?

I went to the doctor one day ago and he prescribed me Prednisone (anti-inflammatory steroid) for one week. So far I've only had one dose of it (3 pills, almost 20 hours ago) and my arms and legs hurt kind of like growing pains.

How long am I supposed to wait to call the doctor? I don't know if this is a side effect or if it is normal pain.

  1. I would call ASAP

    However when you are on steroids you should not stop taking them without talking to your doc so make sure that you talk to him today!
