Question:

Lower back pain at 26 weeks?

I'm 26 weeks pregnant, and I have had a constant backache all morning - especially when I sit. This is my first baby, so I'm not sure what is normal. Is there anything I can do to relieve this pain? Or is it something I should be worried about. I thought I had a UTI earlier in the week, but I went in and had a culture done and it came back clear. So, I'm really confused. I know a lower back ache can be a normal symptom of pregnancy, but since its my first I can't help but be concerned...

Should I be worried?

  1. Your baby is just putting strain on your back no need to worry about that, whenever my back hurt like that i took a nice warm relaxing bath and then had my hubby rub my back

  2. Get your spouse to give you a quick massage in the morning, or put a heating pad or ice pack on it for a while.

    Best of luck! ^^

  3. i have Chronic back pain too!!! i am a hairdresser so on my feet all day. i use a heat pack and showers to sooth it. very common in pregnancy.

  4. SOUNDS LYK A NORMAL PREGNANCY, CONGRATS, GET AN ICY HOT PATCH!!!
