Lower back pain in the 1st trimester ?

Hello everyone,

First let me tell you that I am 13 week+1 day today and according to some "books" I am finally out of the 1st trimester. Tomorrow I am seeing a doctor and I will discuss my issues with her but I would like to get your input on this. The last couple of weeks I have had this lower back pain that is not constant there but for the most part is there. Now it is not to much pain it is that since for the most part is there it makes me uncomfortable but mostly worried since I have read that miscarriage might start with lower back pain. Another thing that really freaked me out is that last week on Thursday while I was wiping I saw blood (just a string of blood/dark brown). I right way called emergency and they told me to put a pad on and see if I filled up in an hour and if so I would of have to go in emergency. However luckily I never saw any blood after that and I haven't had any cramps but just the stretching kind of pains mostly in my right side that of course are on and off. Now I am worried that I might have a missed miscarriage or something... Did anyone has experienced anything like that?

Im in my first trimester, 9 weeks, and have lower back pain as well. Its totally normal.  Spotting is also normal.  So I think you are doing fine :)
