So is 30.23 for say, bad weather or good?

    It promotes instability in the region in the form of precipitation and winds.


  2. Pressure of our atmosphere is related to the weather that we experience.  

    Low pressure indicates storms (this is why sometimes before a storm you may have achy joints because the pressure on your body is changing)

    High pressure indicates good weather.

  3. Low pressure systems bring precipitation and storms such as rain, snow, thunderstorms etc. and high pressure brings clear dry weather.

  4. In most cases, low pressure is associated with storms and turbulence.  High pressure is associated with more stable weather conditions.

    In the eye of a hurricane, for example, the atmospheric pressure is extremely low.
