  1. I would say that Tanabe just hasn't added the 08 to their list.  I think it would be alright to go ahead, if that is the brand you really want.

  2. dude, it would be alot easier to just get some from trd. plus, since they are from toyota they wont void your warranty and come with there own warrant.

  3. honestly, i wouldn't think so, although i do not recommend you do that. with the 08 model and up, i don't think any changes have been made to the stock suspension of the tc, so it might work. however, the lowering kit was made specifically for 05 to 07 models, so even though no changes have been made the parts or location of the parts might have changed, so it might not allow you to install it correctly.

if you want to be safe, go the trd route. although it is a little bit more expensive, if you search around you'll be able to find some pretty good deals on it. but if not tanabe, i know eibach and tein make them. if not the tanabe's i'd recommend you get the tein, they are just as nice.

EDIT: just checked, hotchkis makes lowering kits for the tc 05+, if i were you i'd go for the hotchkis. they and tanabe are about equal performance wise.
