Which part of France has the lowest cost of living (rent, food, ect.).

  1. hello,

    Well, if you consider food, there are no differences between the different parts of the country. Most of the business is owned by large supermarket companies which set about the same prices nationwide... So basically, you will pay your eggs, your new DVD or your toothbrush the same price wherever you live...

    For rent it's far different... Some places are very expensive : around big cities (Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Toulouse,...  and of course the Riviera... (In fact almost all the south and the west of the country is above average). But it's also true than in large cities salaries are generally highers...

    The most affordable place is probably the middle of the country... (around Clermont Ferrand...) and the North-East of the country (along the Belgian border)


  2. The most cheaper in France, I don't know!

    Everything increases except salaries!
