Lowest ever aggregate total in a game??

Inspired by Chair Wizard's effort ... what's the lowest ever combined score of the two teams. (I vaguely remember the Cats being in something when I was a kid that was about 8-2 or that might have been the half time score.) You could bet it would have been a miserable day at somewhere like Windy Hill or Western Oval.

What about the WAFL and SAFL - any shockers there?

    Essendon 1.8 (14)

    Melbourne 0.8 (8)

    EDIT: It was at Albert Park.
