I'd like to see Machida paired up with a guy who really go after him and start up a war, since Lyoto's laid-back and somewhat boring fighting style might cost him a good contract. So yeah, I think Thiago Silva might be a good match-up.

It all depends if Machida could get his hands dirty a little bit

I have The Dragon in this one. His technical style of fighting would frustrate a more aggressive Thiago and cause him to make mistakes.

Lyoto would win, his stand up is better than Thiagos and he also has a black belt in BJJ which is Thiagos main strength.
