Luau Recipes?

Question

I'm throwing a Luau Party for my Birthday. My best friend is a vegan and I would really like to several vegan dishes for her. That said I need them to go with the Luau theme. Any recipes you have would be greatly appriciated. I'm already looking for a banana bread recipe, but really looking for a main dish. Thanks for all your help!

here's a link that seems helpful.  It doesn't seem to have many main dishes, though.  The few things that aren't vegan could be easily made so by using soy yogurt.

Don't forget the haupia!  It's my favorite dessert, and super easy to make.

Try making a hawaiian pizza. Go to vegweb.com, theres hundreds of recipes so take yoru time and look around. Thats so nice that your accomodating your vegan friend. I'm a vegan too! Good luck.
