Napoli have confirmed a new contract with their midfielder, along with the extension of his lending agreement to the Orobici for the 2012-13 season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luca-Cigarini-c22510 has been allowed by Napoli to continue playing on-loan to Atalanta, after the player and the Partenopei agreed to extend their contract.
The 26-year-old had a very promising campaign at the Nerazzurri in the last season, and was wanted back at the club for their next campaign, a wish that has been granted by the Azzurri.
Napoli purchased the midfielder from Atalanta in 2009, and there was speculation that the owners may opt to use the playmaker at Naples to fire up their next season.
However, the Orobici have officially confirmed that they have an understanding with the Partenopei, and have acquired the services of Cigarini for another season on-loan.
The Naples outfit has also confirmed signing an extension of the contract with Cigarini to last until June 2015, and also revealed that they will allow the midfielder to continue his adventure at Atalanta.
The Partenopei playmaker was delighted at the development, and released a brief statement on the Orobici’s official website to express himself.
Cigarini expressed his gratitude for Atalanta President and director general for allowing him to continue playing at the Nerazzurri.

The Nerazzurri playmaker was adamant of the club’s achievements in the previous season, but maintained that the time is for them to brace themselves to make a good start
to the new season.
While talking to the press, the former Parma-man said:
“I thank President Antonio Percassi and director general Pierpaolo Marino for giving me the opportunity to wear this shirt again. It’s a great chance and I will do everything possible to repay the trust shown. Finally my wish has come true. This past season
we achieved great things, but now we start from scratch and there is still much to prove. Next week we get serious, I cannot wait.” He added.
