The Bianconeri midfielder has stated that his team is ready to unleash fury upon http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 in the upcoming Super Cup clash, as a payback for their defeat in the Italian cup’s final of last season.
Luca Marrone has voiced his enthusiasm ahead of the Supercoppa Italiana match against Napoli, and has stated that Juventus will win the trophy match to avenge their Coppa Italia defeat of last season.
The Old Lady remained unbeaten in the 2011-12 season in all competitions, but were gunned down by the Partenopei in the final of the Italian Cup to bar the Serie A Champions from completing a double.
Marrone stated that the boys are slowly getting the magic of their last season back from into their legs, and stressed that the team is really pumped up to go against Napoli in the season opener.
The Bianconeri midfielder insisted that the players are working really hard in practice, and stressed that they will be in their best shape by the start of the trophy match.
The former Siena player added that the Turin giants are hungry for more silverware after having tasted blood in the form of their Serie A triumph, and insisted that the prospect of avenging their Coppa Italia defeat against Napoli has added to their enthusiasm.
In an interview with Juventus’ official website, the 22-year-old said:
"The season's only just starting but we feel good, our legs are starting to tick over nicely and in a week's time we'll be in top shape. We're fired up for this game with Napoli. The Super Cup is the first piece of silverware up for grabs and we're determined
to avenge our defeat in the Coppa Italia final. We can't wait to get out there and play it."
Marrone is naturally a midfielder but was called in many times in the last season to play in the defence.
The Bianconeri player stressed that he will be glad to be of help, regardless of the position that he is assigned in the field.
"I'm ready to do my bit for the team wherever the coach wants me to play." He added.
