The Bianconeri midfielder has stated that he wants to play more regularly, but maintains that he is in dark about the Bianconeri’s plans for his future.
Luca Marrone has stated that he is aware of the speculation regarding his future with Juventus, and has stressed that he wants to play regularly wherever the Bianconeri choose to send him.
The Old Lady midfielder made only six appearances for the Turin giants in the 2011-12 campaign, and his desire for a regular spot in the playing eleven could see him move away from the club.
Marrone stated that despite the speculation, it is too early to predict what future might hold for him. The Bianconeri midfielder voiced his desire to play more regularly in Serie A, and stated that he will have to see if he can
get the opportunity at the Zebre.
While talking to calciomercato.it, the 22-year-old said:
“It is still too early to talk about my future. Obviously I want to play with more regularity, so we’ll have to see whether that will be at Juventus or somewhere else.”
The Italian under-21 player was sent by Juventus on-loan to Siena, but returned to his mother club on the request of Antonio Conte, who also coached him at the Robur.
Marrone was all praise for the Bianconeri manager, and revealed that it was Conte who retained him at the Turin giants. The Old Lady midfielder stated that he owes a lot to the Champion’s tactician who always kept him close to
himself, and offered him invaluable support and advice.
The playmaker stated that he is proud to be a part of the Zebras, and insisted that he has grown tremendously in the last season both as a professional player and as a human.
“I owe a lot to Conte. It was he who asked for me to be kept at Juventus. He was always close to me, even when I didn’t play and he offered me precious advice. I grew a lot on a professional and human level over the course of the
past season. I’m happy and proud to be a part of the project.”
Marrone has also been linked with moves to Atalanta, Genoa and Palermo on a loan deal.
