The former Juventus centre-forward has gone on to state his initial impressions of the new signings made at Fiorentina, and he has been very impressed with Valero.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitar-Berbatov-c11254 from Manchester United. The situation involving Berbatov was extremely infuriating for the Viola outfit, and
they have publically lamented and spoken against the behaviour of the former Tottenham star, who kept the club waiting on his decision till the eleventh hour, before holding off any talks and heading towards Craven Cottage to finalise his deal with the Premier
League outfit, Fulham FC.
This irked the owners and the management of the Gigliati outfit who were quite keen to get hold of the Bulgarian international. However, after failing to land the former Manchester United player, they looked elsewhere and decided on re-signing their former
player, Luca Toni. Toni was elevated onto the big stage due to his performances for the Artemio Franchi side and he remarked that he would be looking to achieve the same heights that they did before.
When Toni was quizzed about how it is feeling to be back in the Viola colours, he remarked that he could not wait to kick start and get back in his goal scoring form. He further went on to state his opinion on the new signings made by the club.
Fiorentina have signed a lot of players for the coming campaign, and they have signed around 18 players this term, and injected the team with a lot of quality players.
Along with their new head coach, they have also hired a new sporting director. Toni remarked on the new signings, and has been impressed by the one from Villarreal, and commented:
“Who impressed me most out of the new players? http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Borja-Valero-c7889 is really strong. I did not know him, but I've been impressed in the days that we've trained together.”
He also commented on his own fitness ahead of the new campaign, and remarked that he was fit and ready to play at the highest level once again and is at the disposal of Coach Montella.
