The Borussia Dortmund striker has penned a deal with the Chinese club after spending three glorious years at the Signal Iduna Park.

Barrios was a first team regular for the past two seasons but lost his place to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robert-Lewandowski-c31255 in this campaign. He had also scored heavily in the previous season to lead Dortmund to the Bundesliga triumph last term. However,
the Paraguayan spent most of his time on the bench this season and was mostly used as a second-half substitute.
Due to lack of first-team opportunities at the club, the attacker demanded a move elsewhere and attracted interest from China. The Chinese outfit has agreed to pay 8.5 million Euros to Dortmund for Barrios and the club has also
confirmed the player’s deal.

While speaking to Bundesliga.de, the former Tiro Federal striker further added: "I want to thank the fans for their great support during the past three years. I will never forget my time at Borussia Dortmund and will always cherish
it."
On the other hand, Dortmund chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke insisted that the club respects the player’s decision and wish Barrios a successful journey in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/China-c8926. He showed his delight at the striker’s achievements and appreciated
his services which led the Borussians to successive Bundesliga crowns.
"This is Lucas' decision. He wanted to begin a new adventure and we must allow him that. We have always dealt fairly with each other. It is clear that he wants to play regularly. He had great years here and we are indebted to
him," Watzke concluded.
Dortmund have already defended their crown with one game still to be played in the competition against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/SC-Freiburg-c40462. Jurgen Klopp’s men are also just three points away from becoming the first side to register most number of points
in a single Bundesliga season.
