Liverpool midfielder, Lucas Leiva, was over the moon after making a comeback to professional circuitry, and was determined to help the Reds ascend in the table.
The Brazilian International, who remained on the sidelines for almost a year, returned to action on Saturday, featuring for 88 minutes against Southampton at Anfield in his side’s 1-0 win.

Earlier, the midfielder suffered a thigh injury back in August which ruled him out from playing for three months. He also missed out on the bulk of the previous season due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury he picked up against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in a League Cup
tie.
Nonetheless, after having patiently completed his convalescence process, the midfielder was now focused on performing well for the Reds.
He expressed his delight upon getting back to action, and was confident that he will rediscover his best form after a couple of weeks of action. He also said that he felt like making his football debut all over again against Southampton on Saturday.
“I was really looking forward to the game and the feeling against Southampton was the same as my first match for Gremio,” he told the reporters in an interview.
“I played more minutes than people were expecting and now it is just a question of games and training sessions, that is the only way I will get to the level I was.”

“Everyone knows it has been a long journey for me to turn around the opinion of people but they really appreciate the work I do for the team and the passion I have for the club,” he added.
