Liverpool’s midfielder, Lucas has is hopeful that he will make a full recovery from a knee injury and will be back in action before the start of the coming season.
The Brazilian picked up an anterior cruciate ligament injury on 1st of December, during a Carling Cup match against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786. The player collided with the Blues winger, Juan Mata and since then, he has not played any matches for the Reds.
However, Lucas has revealed that he is recovering from the injury and believes that he needs to be fully fit before he makes his comeback to the side.
"My rehab is going well and hopefully I will be fit for next season. It was a bad injury so I need to recover properly to be strong again," he said in a Twitter message.

"LFC medical staff were present during the procedure.” A statement on the club’s website said.
"Lucas will now begin an agreed rehabilitation programme which will be overseen by the Club's medical team."
The midfielder’s injury was a big setback for Liverpool who have struggled in the Premier League since his absence. His last appearance for the Reds in the league came against Manchester City at Anfield which ended in a 1-1 draw. The Brazilian’s performance
