Liverpool’s midfielder, Lucas Levies has revealed that he is making a speedy recovery after undergoing a knee surgery in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858.
The Brazilian International has been ruled out by the Reds for the remainder of the season, after he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury, in a league cup match in November. The player is expected to make a comeback at the beginning of the coming
season.
The 25 year old stated on the club’s website that everything is going as per schedule, but admitted that he had to wait for another couple of months, before he could reappear for the Reds.
"It's going well. The knee has responded very well after surgery.” He said.
"There's still a long way to go, but everything is going as planned and the doctors are very happy with my progress."
Lucas, who arrived at Anfield from Gremio in 2007, has capped 183 appearances for the Reds, and has scored 6 goals during this period. His last appearance for the Merseyside team was in the quarterfinal of the Carling Cup on 29thNovember, which
Liverpool went on to win 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.
The Brazilian midfielder has attended all of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809’s games at Anfield since January, and maintained that it is important that he backed his team mates during their difficult period. Besides, he has also been seen in the Melwood training ground.

"I haven't missed one. It's important. On a daily basis here at Melwood, I think it's important to be around and try to send my team-mates a positive message and help in any way I can.”
He also admitted that he was desperate to make a return as soon as possible and expressed his frustration, of watching the Reds matches from the sidelines. He pointed out that it was the first major injury that he has picked up, since his move to the Merseyside
club.
He also thanked his family, his team mates and all the fans for their good wishes on Twitter, highlighting that their messages kept him positive throughout his injury.
"Everyone has pulled together and it's made a big difference for me.”
