Lucasi Pool Cue - good choice or not?

Question

I purchased a Lucasi cue and I am second guessing myself - was this a good choice? The cue is a birthday gift and I know I got the correct weight.

I have played pool for over 35 years and I would be very happy if I got a Lucasi as a birthday gift. It was a great choice and you need not worry at all. It takes time to get used to a new cue no matter what it is. Good job , don't sweat it.

I love my Lucasi, and have no regrets.  I have used my son's McDermott, my daughter's Cuetec, and friend's Viking and Meucci, but I like the feel of the Lucasi, and the positive strike.  Some cues I have tried feel mushy or overly solid when shooting hard, and some have no touch on a soft shot.  The Lucasi is balanced well, and shoots clean.  You have done well for yourself, in my opinion.
