Luciano Moggi: Only http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan can frustrate AC Milan’s title bid
Former Juventus General Director Luciano Moggi believes that only Inter Milan are capable of catching AC Milan in the race to the Serie A title in the ongoing 2010-11 season.
Moggi said that Milan dominated the game against the Old Lady in Turin and eventually won it courtesy a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gianluigi-Buffon-c14833 error. The Italian claimed that Milan are playing some very good football in the current season and Inter are running neck to neck. Inter
are back to defend their title after a struggling start to the season under Rafa Benitez.
Moggi was impressed by Inter Milan’s second-half comeback from being a goal down to win at home against Genoa. The Nerazzurri put in a brilliant second period performance to stay in second place in the table. They are currently five points behind the Rossoneri
with ten matches to go.
“Inter on the other hand showed with an impressive comeback against Genoa that they're only team that can frustrate Milan's title bid. They showed two different faces on Sunday. They lacked passion before the break, but were impressive in the second half,”
the Italian was quoted as saying.
The former Juventus Director ruled http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 out of the Scudetto race after their tame draw against Brescia and said that the title will now be decided between the two Milanese teams.
“Napoli are now out of the title race following their draw against Brescia. They were lucky that [Andrea] Caracciolo didn't score against them,” added the Italian.
AC Milan are currently on top of the Serie A table with 61 points while Inter sit second with 56 points. The title is far from over as the two teams clash at the San Siro next month in the Derby della Madonnina in one of the most anticipated matches of the
season.
Luciano Moggi is facing court action after he was reportedly involved in the Calcio scandal in 2006 when he was the General Director of Juventus.
The Italian was banned for life from football by the Italian Football Federation while Juventus were relegated to the Serie B and stripped off the 2005 and 2006 Scudettos which went to Inter Milan.
