Luciano Moggi believes AC Milan should prefer Cesc Fabregas over Marek Hamsik – Serie A Update
Former Juventus FC director general, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 midfielder, Marek Hamsik, and Moggi opposes this move by the
current Serie A champions.
Milan have recently lost one of their greatest assets in the midfield, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Andrea-Pirlo-c5702, who moved out to join the Turin giants, Juventus FC, on a free transfer. Now the central midfield needs a suitable replacement and the Rossoneri are in search for a replacement,
short-listing the best of the best to add an equivalent replacement.
Moggi was recently interviewed in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 and while talking to the reports, the former Juve director general said:
"Hamsik is not a star, he's got class but very inconsistent. Fabregas obviously would be the best recruits. Milan should carefully see their options and invest their money in the right direction.”
The Diavolo are reported to be tracking multiple players throughout Europe in pursuit of the best option. The other names on the list are reckoned to be Frank Ribery from the Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich, the young Palermo sensation http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Pastore-c18082, and
the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paulo-Henrique-Ganso-c29449.
Ganso and Pastore are the less likely names to be seen at San Siro next season as both the players are catching too much attention throughout Europe and it won’t be easy to join the race to lure them. On the other hand, Ribery is reckoned to be an expensive
catch marked at 40 million Euros. However, the current Serie A champions are likely to pay such a price for Ribery.
Until now in this summer transfer window, the Rossoneri have added two players to the squad from the summer market. Philippe Mexes from AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Taye-Taiwo-c34728, have been acquired on free transfers.
The men in the red and black jerseys won the Scudetto this season after a drought of 7 years and now the club management is looking forward to revamp the squad. The Rossoneri wish to add match winners in the team to make another strong impact on the Italian
top flight while and also challenging for UEFA Champions League in the next season.
