The former Juventus director has vowed that he will peg Inter Milan back by more than 1 million Euros, the sum the club were ordered to pay for spying on Vieri.
Christian Vieri sued Inter Milan for hiring a private detective to watch his activities during his time at the Beneamata outfit as a striker. The striker was ordered to be given a compensation of 1 million Euros from Inter Milan for tapping his phone calls.
The detective agency followed the player around as well, in order to track wherever he went during his time at the club, and this was besides the wiretapping of his phone. The outcome of the case suggested that the club had done this to various personnel
and not just the prolific goal scorer.
The name of Luciano Moggi had also come up in this and the former Juventus director general has not wasted any time and has already sued the Beneamata outfit for their unethical and unprofessional behaviour.
The wiretapping of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan paid to Christian Vieri, and stated that:
“Vieri was being spied on, but so was I. When it comes to us, it’ll be even worse. We have requested much more than €1m in damages, but I can’t remember the exact sum.”
The former Juve chief is confident that the life ban he has been handed due to the Calciopoli controversy would be overturned soon enough, and he also questioned many questions posed by the Radio Jockey at Radio Kiss Kiss, and candidly stated that he is
happy with what he is doing currently, and also remarked on some misunderstandings that have arisen against him.
During his interview, he was quoted to have said:
“I am sure my ban from football will be resolved soon. Will I return to the role of director? At the moment I am enjoying myself doing the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 of journalists. Some say I still run Italian football? That’s just an urban myth.”
The Beneamata have been defensive after they were found guilty of spying on Vieri.
