Lucid dreamers: do you ever see yourself or part of yourself in your lucid dream?

I'm fairly new to lucid dreams. I didn't even know much about the subject until I was given some websites after asking a question about one that I had. Anyways, I've only tried exploring two of my dreams so far and in both, I saw my hand. In the first, I was touching it to see if I felt anything. I was trying to determine whether or not I was dreaming. And on the second, I was reaching out for something.

  1. Lucid dreaming is almost like meditaion. Practice makes perfect. The first lucid dream I remember having was when I was like 14 of 15 and I was standing on the buisy street near my house. I looked to the left and pretty far down the street I could see a dark colored lifted truck with 3 people standing around it. I realized that I was one of those 3 people, and at that moment I knew I was dreaming.

This helped to figure out further that I could do just about anything as long as I was aware that I was dreaming. I started out slow, like you said, testing the waters almost. I'd think "I'm dreaming. Jump real high." Or "I'm dreaming, I need money." I will say that too that I dont feel I've quite mastered it, but have a good grasp of the idea. I say this cuz I dont realize I am dreaming in every dream I have. Some dreams just aren't lucid.

    Keep working at it.

  2. I see myself as I would in waking life.  If I reach out, I see my hand, if I look in the mirror I see my reflection.
