  1. Definitely binaural beats. You may try many techniques but if you want to achieve lucidity fast and effectively...you should try binaural beats. If you have no idea what those are you could learn at

    http://luciddreamnow.com

They teach exactly what binaural beats are, how they can help you and recommend places where to download the tracks.

  2. That's a good question... unfortunately I don't have much of an answer for you, but askers can't be choosers!

I've been a lucid dreamer for a few years now... I'm not sure how it happened.  Somehow while dreaming I got myself to realize that it was a dream, and after realizing that it was easy to alter things in the dream the way I wanted.

Try repeating a mantra to yourself just before bed. "It's MY dream. I control it. I want to ___insert your ideas here___."  Once you do it a few times it'll get easier.

  3. Regularly question whether you are awake or asleep. Close your mouth and pinch your nose.....if you can still breath you are dreaming, if not then you are obviously awake.

Look at a clock or timer, turn away and then look back. If the numbers have rearranged you are dreaming.

Question everything......for example is it normal for there to be a pink elephant in the middle of the room.....probably not.

Once you achieve lucidity, you may find the dream state starts to fade...in which case try spinning on the spot.

    Hope this helps.

  4. The most important key to learning how to generate lucid dreaming is your level of motivation. The second is being adept at recalling your dreams, sometimes which comes through practice. However, the following techniques may also be used to encourage lucidity:

Pre-sleep suggestion: As you drift to sleep, repeat a request or statement in your mind about becoming lucid in your dreams.

Periodic questioning: Develop a "critical-reflective attitude" to your state of consciousness while awake yourself "could I be dreaming now?" at regular intervals throughout the day.

Rehearse dreaming: Sit down and pretend that you are dreaming. Use your imagination to create a dream.

If this were a dream: Several times a day, stop and ask yourself "if this experience were a dream, what would it mean?"

Meditation: People who regularly practice meditation techniques seem to have more lucid dreams.

Dream groups: It is possible to join up with other people who are interested in exploring their dreams. People with an established forum in which to discuss their dreams tend to become regular lucid dreamers.

  5. You mean when you know your dreaming and you control everything? Well then if thats the case theres this little experimental helmet that senses of you go into REM sleep and it gives a little faint light enough for you to sense, but not wake you up. See if you can find something like that in your area.

  6. If you are talking about realistic dreams like I have at times it comes to me when I have problems getting all the way to sleep.  I have had a few meds that caused realistic dreams like a sleeping pill called Dalmaine.  If you are taking any type of med to help you stay asleep stop for a night or two.  I am sorry if I misunderstand what Lucid means...gone to look it up   ...... be happy,  pppleease.

  7. I've been lucid dreaming for as long as I remember. I don't know how I realized it, but once I noticed that I;m awake while dreaming, things started to become fun. I even look forw3ard to sleeping now so that I can think of a cool plot to make happen.

There's a sight that you can go to try and develop those skills: http://www.wikihow.com/Lucid-Dream

    Good Luck!
