The Borussia Monchengladbach manager has expressed his delight on the team’s progress this season and is looking forward to continue with the winning run.

Favre claimed that his side truly deserved to win after the stunning performance against Die Knappen. He insisted that the team put in a sensational performance to remain on the heels of Bayern Munich and Schalke for the league
title.
Gladbach have a terrific record at Borussia Park in the Bundesliga this season as they have won eight of the 11 games played, drawing three and losing none.
The manager added that the team showed yet again that they have the quality to beat any team in the league and that they can win the title at the end of the season.
“We clearly deserved to win. We took the lead early and we played some fantastic football to go 1-0, then 2-0 up. After that we pushed forward and created chances, but unfortunately it wasn't enough for us to grab a fourth goal.
Overall I'm very happy with my team,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
On the other hand, Die Knappen boss Huub Stevens was disappointed with his side’s poor showing against last season’s relegation contenders. He claimed that some players need to improve and step up otherwise they will not be part
of the team in the future.
“We'll talk about it during the week, but if certain players are going to perform on the pitch the way they did today then they are no longer worthy of playing for Schalke,” he concluded.
Borussia Monchengladbach will next take on FC Kaiserslautern in the Bundesliga and will be in search of their 14th win of the ongoing season. The Foals are currently three points adrift of leaders Borussia Dortmund and
only a point behind Bayern Munich.
