The Borussia Monchengladbach manager has expressed his pleasure at his team’s training camp in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Turkey-c3026 despite weather conditions not supporting the cause.
Borussia Monchengladbach manager, Lucien Favre, has expressed his delight on the team’s progress during the training camp in Turkey. He added that his team has worked extremely hard during the training sessions despite the wet
weather, and is hopeful of registering positive results during second-half of the season.
Favre also reserved praise for the Turkish authorities on providing his team with the best accommodation and training facilities. He is satisfied with the fitness levels of each of his players except http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Filip-Daems-c13733 who had to fly
back from training due to a gastric flu.
The manager is elated with the performance of his side during the three practice games against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Heracles-Almelo-c39520. The Foals won all the three games which is a clear indication that Favre’s men are up
to the challenge and raring to stretch the likes of Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund to the very last day of the competition.
While talking to the official Bundesliga website, the manager further mentioned:
"It's been a good time here in Belek, the team put in some very good work. You need a bit of luck with the weather, it's not something you can influence.”
On the other hand, Gladbach sporting director, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Max-c24993 Eberl, accused the reporters of publishing false reports about the rifts and disintegration among the Foals unit. He played down any such rumours and insisted that these reports
will not have any kind of effect on his players who are once again ready to take on the challenge from top German clubs.
When asked about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Reus-c23733’ situation at the club, Eberl stated that it's extremely sad to let go such a talented individual. He admitted about the striker’s unbeatable quality, but assured of spending the money from Reus’ transfer
in the best possible manner.
"Obviously it's sad that Marco Reus and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roman-Neustädter-c31637 are going to be leaving, it goes without saying I'd rather they'd come to another decision. But the reporting has taken a strange turn. We're fourth in the table, we're still
in the DFB Cup and with the proceeds from the Reus transfer we've every opportunity to strengthen the squad in the summer," Eberl concluded.
The Foals currently sit fourth on the league table with 33 points, and will take on Bayern Munich on Friday, January 20, when the second-half resumes.
