Lucien Favre unhappy with philosophy of German clubs – Bundesliga News
Borussia Monchengladbach tactician Lucien Favre has expressed dissatisfaction at his employer’s the German clubs philosophy. He is of the belief that the Bundesliga outfits might fail to lift the European crown in future if the trend continues.
Favre hailed the DFB Youth System, its players and crowd attendances inside the stadiums but blamed the poor philosophy of clubs. The manager told that the German Football Federation must define a definite period for introduction of a player to the club’s
staring XI, as the lack of planning is damaging their chances of silverware.
The Foals manager further reckoned that this is probably one reason due to which no German club have been able to lift a European title for the past few years. He urged the Federation to take immediate steps for the betterment of the game.
While talking to Spox, Favre further enthused, "Germany has it all: great players, full stadiums, legitimate finances in the clubs. But what is often missing in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 is a philosophy. A plan from the amateurs to the first team.”
He also added, "There is no continuity. That is why it has been so long since a German club won the Champions League or Europa League. A coach in Germany stays between 10 and 14 months on average. Too little."
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hertha-BSC-c39521 tactician, at the same time, reserved praise for his side on their outstanding form this season. He urged his players to stay focused and keep the momentum going in order to stay up with a chance of making it to Europe.
Favre took charge of the Borussia Park outfit in February this year and made a name for himself by saving the club from going down to the second division.
The Foals are currently fifth on the league table with 20 points from 11 games, five points adrift of the current leaders, Bayern Munich. Lucien Favre’s men will next be seen in action against Hertha http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Berlin-c7536, who are 10th in the league standings.
The 54-year-old is now hoping to see an immediate improvement in the German philosophy in order to witness better results in the future.
