Lucifer the light bringer?

Lucifer was lavished with jewels and such by God.

He is known as the light bringer or Angel of light.

His title: The light bringer could mean the light of knowledge bringing man from the darkness of ignorance into the light of knowledge. How could this be a bad thing?

In mormon faith his biggest crime is wanting to make sure everyone was saved, as opposed to gods way which would lose some souls. The jewish bible doesn't even have a devil, just one mention in job in which Satan's more of a lawyer, Not nice sure, hated maybe, but not evil. Christians made him up to be more powerful to help blame their sins on him and scare people. There's no devil in the jewish bible so why would there be one in the christians one when they claim jesus fulfilled prophecies the Israelites wrote?

Exactly.  In ancient, pre-Judaic cultures, there was always a god of light, a god of knowledge and wisdom.  The idea of Satan/Lucifer was 'demonized' by the early Jews in their ongoing assault against the other religions of their area.  Did you know that the girl's name 'Lucy' is a feminized short form of Lucifer?  So is Lucia.  These names are names honoring the Christian idea of Lucifer/Satan, they are names which evoke the original meaning of the word "Lucifer", as mentioned - Light Bringer.

I think what we have to better understand that names are more than just a label in the realm of the Heavens.

Lucifer started out as one of God's Heavenly messengers telling the activities of the humans to the Almighty - remember Job?

But, as with any of those whose names were changed by the Almighty once the character of the being changed, so too did their names.

For instance, Abram was changed to Abraham once his stance in life changed from no children to the father of many nations and the same for his wife Sari.  Once she was barren without any children, but when she became pregnant with Isaac then her name was changed to Sarah which means she is the mother of many nations.

Adam changed his wife's name from 'woman' to Chavah (Eve) because she was to be the 1st mother of the world.

After Jacob fought with God or one of His Angels and won his name was changed to Israel.  Because he was no longer a deceiver and heal grabber, but to be one of God's chosen monarchs.

Lucifer, the serpent, the Devil, Satan all show his changing character.

From Light Bringer, Deceiver, Hater of God, Destroyer and so on.

God created Lucifer full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.Lucifers job was to protect the Mercy seat,an extremely high position in heaven(that's what all those precious stones represent).Lucifers vanity got the best of him,he wanted to sit in the Mercy seat instead of protecting it.In the process,a third of Gods children decided to follow Lucifer instead of God.That is why we are in the flesh now-to make a choice.In this flesh age Lucifer has many different names & titles(which are important to know their meaning).He is the fake morning star.In Rev.6:2 he is riding a white horse(Christ rides a white horse,Rev.19:11)but this is satan,the anti-christ,coming as Christ.He's trying to fool all christians into worshipping him and unfortunately many will.

  Eze.28 tells about satan.Vs.1-10 call him the prince of Tyrus(his title was the king before his fall)-this is after his fall in Heaven but still prophecy yet to happen.In vs.11-18 was before his fall,he was the King of Tyrus.

  So,can you see how this light bearer is a bad thing?I hope so.You have a choice to make-which morning son will you follow?
