The veteran midfielder was at the end of his contract at the club. However, Les Parisiens were willing to offer him a contract extension with improved terms. Sport.fr now claims that the 34-year-old has refused to sign the contract extension.
PSG coach, Antoine Kombouare confessed at a press conference that it was the right-winger who broke off the talks. “What he was offered, was not according to his expectations apparently,” said the Frenchman.
Ludovic Giuly was initially looking to extend his stay at the Paris-based club and even said a few months ago that he was considering ending his career at the club. However, rumours now suggest that the PSG direction did not offer Giuly a salary that the
former Monaco man was expecting.
