Luggage HELP!?

- Is it true , that now, if you want to take a second luggage you must pay?

- Even though you are within the weight range.

  1. yes - depending on the airline.

    US Air and American are the only 2 airlines currently charging 15.00 for your 1st bag -

    United and Continental plus the 2 listed above charge 25.00 for your second bag.

    These policies went into effect in April/May - if you purchased your ticket before that - you still can check a 2nd bag for free.


  2. You may even have to pay for the first piece of checked baggage, depending on the airline you fly and when you bought the ticket.

    Check with your airline(s) to see what the rules are now.

    At least one airline is also going to be charging for all beverages in flight, even water.
