Lugway.com? Anyone know this Internet Company??

Has anyone heard of an Internet company called Lugway.com? Are they legitimate? How do I contact them--Lugway.com does not work. Anyone have a phone or e-mail address for this company? Any help is appreciated. Ed

Hi Ed,

Unfortunately it sounds like I am in the same predicament that you are facing.  I purchased a "Coach" bag from lugway.com on Aug 18, 08.  It appears that their website is GONE!  I have called my bank and cancelled my card, but the $173 charge has already gone through.  My husband did a ping on the IP address and it appears that the email originated from somewhere in Vermont? I do have the email address from the site from when it was up and running earlier in the week.  (It's still in my inbox).  It was [e-mail].  

I have tried contacting them several times, and of course have not had any luck.  I've tried tracking them down using google and yahoo.  I did find a similar site called funkyandhot.com.  I have since inquired to them about their purses via the email address that is on their website.  I am going to see if I get a response, and then ping that IP address to see if I can come up with any match to lugway at all.  PLEASE keep in contact with me regarding this issue.  It looks like you and I might be our only allies at this point.  I can't seem to locate any other online posts from others who have gotten scammed by lugway too.

I also ordered a 'coach' bag on 8-18-08.  I also have canceled my credit card but not before the charge went through.  I did email them at the yahoo email address and I did get a few responses. They said it was delayed due to weather. storms in the midwest. Not very original. I wrote back and told them if I didn't receive tracking verification that I wanted a full refund or I would contact my credit card's fraud department.  Which I already did last week but thought I would mess with them. They said I would have it shortly.  That was on Friday and I didn't get a response from them when I emailed them again today.

I had a look on trusty google for you and it seems lugway also listed as lugaway is a scam site that claims to offer authentic purses and handbags at cheap prices. But all the search results that came up were websites full of people comlaining that this company are a scam, they take your money and never send your goods. I'd turn around and walk the other way if i were you, some people ahve claimed that they have had the card details sold to other scam companies. Lugway also run under another couple of names but i'd have to pay to access them, sorry but im not paying for the privilegde of being told there fraudulent companies!!
