Jos Luhukay has claimed that his side could have won the clash against Hoffenheim last week in the Bundesliga. He stated that the visitors could have claimed all three points if the players had taken their chances throughout the
course of 90 minutes. However, he admitted that Hoffenheim are very strong at home and a point is still a great achievement.
“With a bit more courage, we could have got more out of that. We could have got more out of it. One point is better than none,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The manager also praised striker Sascha Molders for a brilliant performance in the match. He stated that the striker has regained his touch with a well taken goal, after a disappointing time in the past few weeks. Luhukay admitted
that he is happy for the player and remained hopeful that he continues scoring goals in the remaining games of the season.

“I'm glad for him that he scored. It was very important psychologically for Sascha on the back of the past few weeks. I'm happy he was able to positively channel that pressure. It was a good response by Sascha to the events of
the last few days. He created problems time and again for the opposition's two central defenders,” he continued.
FC Augsburg earned a vital point against Hoffenheim to remain in 17th place on the Bundesliga standings table. The side has this far accumulated 17 points from the 20 games played.
