Lui Rei favourite for Investec Out of the Ordinary Handicap
Lui Rei is expected to prevail in the Investec Out of the Ordinary Handicap at Epsom in England on Saturday, June 2, 2012. A cash prize of £12,450 will be awarded to the winner of the class-2 event.
Speed will be crucial in the race, as the overall distance to cover for all participants will be 6 furlongs. A total of 16 runners have been confirmed for the event, which is scheduled to start at 17:25 GMT and their names are as follows: Lui Rei,
Swiss Cross, Summerinthecity, Baby Strange, Fireback, Sutton Veny, We Have A Dream, Elna Bright, Amenable, Piscean, Titus Gent, Sacrosanctus, Swilly Ferry, Noverre To Go, Baldemar and Mandalay King.
Out of the above mentioned runners, Lui Rei has the best chances of winning, as he is in very good shape right now. Things will not be easy for him though, as the he will be up against some fierce competitors.
The six-year-old gelding has participated in 35 races until now, winning seven of them and finishing runner up on four occasions. In addition to that, he has also taken the third spot on four times, which shows that he is capable of fighting at the
front.
Although the Robert Cowell’s trainee does not have a very good strike rate, his performances in recent times have been decent. He was victorious in his penultimate outing, which shows the kind of momentum he is carrying at the moment.
However, Lui Rei was unable to make a big impression in his most recent race, as he finished fifth in it. He was not rated favourite back then, but was still expected to fight at the front.

The favourite runner will be partnered by Jim Crowley, who is a promising rider and will be looking forward to a strong show at Epsom.
Other than the above mentioned gelding, there are a few more decent runners, who can walk away with a victory in the race. One of them is Baby Strange, who has got plenty of experience and is carrying a very good momentum at the moment.
Overall, the eight-year-old gelding has participated in 70 races, winning eight of them and he will prove to be a fierce rival for Lui Rei.
