The Spaniard has taken out time to discuss the race for the title in the Liga BBVA, asserting that nothing can be said about who will emerge triumphant.
Former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 national head coach, Luis Aragones, has expressed that the Spanish La Liga is far from over as it is hard to say whether the standings will remain the same in the future. The veteran coach asserted that even though there appears to be little
competition, there is a long way to go into the season.
According to Aragones, the title race is bound to get interesting as the season progresses. He stressed that anything can happen in football.
At the moment, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 are at the top of the Spanish Primera Division’s league standings. The Catalan giants are enjoying a lead of 9 points at the top of the table with Atletico Madrid in the second spot.
Atleti are followed by defending champions, Real Madrid, who are 13 points behind Barca.
Considering the current situation, experts believe that the Spanish La Liga is as good as decided with Tito Vilanova’s being heavy contenders to win the silverware by the end of the season.
However, Aragones has decided to speak against popular belief as he has maintained that nothing can be said at the moment.
"It's very hard to say that the Liga has already been decided. You can't say that because anything can happen in football," the retired manager said in an interview with La Xarxa.
"But it's very difficult to take it away if Barcelona keep displaying the form they have up until now.”
The former La Roja boss then went on to discuss Lionel Messi’s performance during Barca’s latest league fixture and had nothing but praise for the Argentine.
"Messi scores goals," he continued. "He was not spectacular, especially in the first half, when Atletico had him under wraps in the centre of the pitch by crowding him.
"As soon as Atleti stopped pressing, Messi appeared as he always does. He scores goals, he can pass; he has everything in his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. Messi has a special vision for football and special technique."
Messi has scored a total of 90 goals in the year of 2012.
