The Giallorossi manager believes that his side was not inferior to the Turin giants despite getting thrashed in the Coppa Italia quarter-final.
AS Roma manager, Luis Enrique, believes that his team and Juventus played on the same footing in the Coppa Italia quarter-final.

Enrique believes that his team was clearly on par with Juventus but luck did not favour them. He insisted that his team made a mistake in the first goal, and a special goal from Del Piero downed them.
The Spaniard is extremely disappointed with the result but he has urged his players to remain focused on the league. He insists that the Giallorossi are on the right track and they must draw positives from the game.
He insisted that Roma made life difficult for themselves as they were not focused on their defending.
While talking to the reporters, Luis Enrique insisted,

Roma tasted their first defeat in seven games in all competitions. The capital club have lost their chance of winning a trophy this season, as they were knocked out of the preliminary round of the UEFA Europa League and are far
behind in the race to win the Scudetto.
La Maggica are placed sixth in the league table after picking up 30 points from 18 matches played thus far. They will face Bologna in their next game at Stadio Olimpico Rome on Sunday, January 29, 2012.
