Luis Enrique bids Barcelona B farewell – Segunda Division news
Former Barcelona striker, Luis Enrique, has resigned from his duties as manager of the second string Barcelona side. The 41-year-old has been linked with the Primera Division side, Atletico Madrid, and the Serie A side, AS Roma. Enrique mentioned that it
was a great experience managing the second string Barcelona and told that the team possesses immense potential.
The manager had previously signalled his intentions clear regarding a move away from the Camp Nou at the end of the 2010/11 season. As a result, his name was linked with a couple of clubs which delighted the Spaniard. He himself enthused that he would like
to manage one of the top sides from the first Division but at the same time reserved praise for the Catalonian officials.
