The Giallorossi manager insists that his team is starting to develop the killer instinct in-front of the goal; maintains that team is moving in the right direction.

Luis Enrique feels that after months of hard work, his team is slowly starting to internalise the new philosophy of play.
The Giallorossi put an end to their poor away form with a 1-0 victory over Palermo, much to the credit of a strong defence. They feel confident going into their next game against Genoa.
The Maggica boss relented that the most significant change has been the way the team has learnt transition from attack to defence rapidly.
While talking to the press, the La Maggica boss said:
“In a game there are many potential chances for your opponents and you must be ready to recover quickly. After many months we are finally starting to improve in this respect.”
The Giallorossi boss relented that the next phase for the team is to acquire and keep possession of the ball, and that is something that the club has been practicing for a long time. He said that transitions take time, and he is
not sure how the new approach will play against Genoa.
“We’ve got to have the ball and know how to win it back quickly. To do this, we need a system of play that we practice throughout the week in training. I don’t know what game it’ll be against Genoa.”
Enrique maintained that his belief in the new philosophy is unwavering, and a few defeats are not going to shy him off his objectives. The coach insisted that he is not trying to undermine the importance of results, rather, just
trying to display that fundamental changes need time to sink into the roots of the club.
The Spaniard remained insistent that the key is to continue moving in the same direction, in good and bad times.
The Giallorossi boss refrained from commenting on the season objectives, and said that next game is the only point of focus for the team.
