The Giallorossi head coach is elated with his team’s convincing win over Attilio Tesser’s side and remains confident of finishing amongst the top three in the league.

Luis Enrique has commended his team’s impressive victory, and believes that they overcame many obstacles to claim all three points against Novara. The Giallorossi were shocked by an early goal from Andrea Caracciolo, but they remained
strong and fought back extremely well.
The Spaniard is delighted with the win, and has accredited it to the fans. He also heaped special praise on goal-scorer, Marquinho, and believes that the club made a good business in signing him in the January transfer window.
While talking to the reporters, Enrique said:
“This was a very difficult game for us, as it kicked off at an unusual time, it was very hot and our opponents were in great shape. I compliment the team, as they did everything they had to do despite going behind and I am happy
for the fans. They deserve praise for overcoming many dangerous obstacles. Marquinho is a very physical player who runs hard, can burst forward and has a powerful shot.”
To add up to the convincing win, Roma were boosted by the fact that all of their rivals for the third spot dropped points in their respective week 30 matches. La Maggica remain 6th in the league standings, but they close

Enrique is confident that his team will be successful in landing a third-place finish, and sees no reason not to play Uefa Champions League next season.
“We continue to believe in the possibility of third place. Of course we can go into a sprint finish this season and I don’t see why we can’t, even if we aren’t terribly consistent right now.”
Roma will travel to Lecce for their next league game on Saturday, April 7th.
