Luis Fabiano and David Trezeguet to stay with their current clubs

Juventus long serving striker David Trezeguet is to stay with the Italian club, after the club officially rejected offers for the 32 year old striker.
The striker’s future with the Italian giants has been under the scope for a while now, as David scored only eight goals in two seasons for Juventus, and many believed that the French player may well have to move.
However according to David’s agent, the newly appointed coach Luigi Delneri insists that Trezeguet is still to be part of his plans for the Italian giants, and he therefore rejected offers from clubs based in Turkey as well as in the USA. Trezeguet joined Juventus back in 2000 and has therefore played 10 seasons with the side. The French striker has played his best years with the Serie A side.
David Trezeguet has made 245 appearances for the Italians, scoring a record 138 goals for the side. The striker had his best year in 2002, where he earned the Serie A player of the year award. The player also won the Champions League medal in 2002 as well as the Serie A league title in the same year.
Antonio Caliendo, the agent for the French striker stated that David Trezeguet is a part and parcel of the new coach’s plans next season, and one offer from the United States along with two from Turkey have already been rejected by the new manager. The agent added that David would want to respect his contract with the Italian club and does not want to leave. Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor were two of the clubs named by the agent who were linked with the 32 year old striker.
Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano has also committed his future with his current club Sevilla. Many clubs were linked with the highly rated Brazilian striker, but no agreement was made. Fabiano expressed his love for playing with the 18 times English champions Manchester United, but the Red Devils were not interested. Fabiano then stated he would like to play for AC Milan, and even though Milan was reportedly interested, nothing really surfaced, leaving the striker no choice but to commit with his current club.
Premier League club Tottenham Hotspurs were also interested in the striker, but Fabiano first openly stated that he did not want to move there. However, after failure of talks with AC Milan and United, Fabiano stated that he would even want to play for Tottenham, which was a complete U-turn of his earlier statement.
The striker scored 21 goals in 34 games last season, and also scored three times in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The player has been in top form over the years, and English Champions Chelsea were also linked with the 29 year old but he has now confirmed that he is to remain a Sevilla player for the next season, and kick off their season when they play Barcelona next month.
Sevilla were the Copa del Rey winners last season. Fabiano joined Sevilla back in 2005, scoring 62 goals in 127 appearances. Luis Fabiano has also been a part of Brazil international team, and has scored 28 goals in 43 appearances.
Fabiano stated that during his time with Brazil in World Cup, he remained calm about future, as he knew he would stay with the Spanish side. The striker added that although much was speculated at the time, but none of the rumours were true.
"I couldn't talk because I was with the Brazil team but I have a year left on my contract with Sevilla and I am very happy”, stated the highly rated Brazilian forward. The striker added that he wanted to play for Sevilla and give his all for the Spanish club, and would want to lift the trophy in August.
Both Fabiano and Trezeguet have been truly top class performers when they enjoyed top form. They were considered to be one of the best in the World a few years back, but now have been reduced to some substitute appearances owing to their age and poor form.
