Luis Fernandez was of the opinion that Andres Iniesta is better than all these three players. He insisted that the Catalan has the ability to pioneer the most amazing of moves on the ball and makes them look easy.

While talking to AS, the former Paris Saint-Germain manager was quoted as saying:
"Everybody always talks about Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, but for me Iniesta is the best player in the Spanish competition. He always does everything well. He directs play, provides assists and scores goals himself. He makes everything look easy and
is a genius. You just know everything will be alright when he gets the ball.”
Andres Iniesta featured in Barcelona’s 1-3 victory over traditional rivals Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu last Saturday and he played a very pivotal role in being the architect of most of their midfield play.
Luis Fernandez emphasized Iniesta’s involvement against Madrid and the recent success that Barcelona have enjoyed. He suggested that even with a comparatively fragile physique, Iniesta often manages to lead Barcelona to victory.
"There were doubts about him because of his fragile physique. Big and strong players dominated back then. Nowadays, the smaller players have taken over a bit," he stated.
